Boundin'

Boundin' is a short animated film from Pixar about a lamb living on a high mountain plain whose gleaming fleece makes him a joyful dancer, the star of his little corner of the American West. When a shepherd arrives and shears him, the lamb loses the coat he took such pride in and, with it, his confidence. A wise jackalope, a rabbit with horns, comes across the discouraged animal and teaches him that his worth does not depend on his wool, and that life's ups and downs can be met with the same resilience. The lamb regains his footing and his love of dancing.

The film was directed and written by Bud Luckey, who also narrates it, with Osnat Shurer producing. It runs five minutes and mixes animation, comedy, family material and music, with songs carrying much of the story. It was released in November 2003 and was made by Pixar as a musical short.

On IMDb the film holds a rating of 6.8 from roughly 15,000 votes, while on TMDB it has a 6.5 from about 611 votes.
