Dead Space: Downfall

The mining ship USG Ishimura is carrying out an extraction operation on a remote planet when its crew uncovers an ancient artifact known as a Marker. Many aboard take it as proof of the existence of God or of humanity's creators, and reverence for the object spreads through the vessel. Their discovery instead awakens a long-dormant alien species, and the crew is forced to fight for survival against creatures unlike anything humanity has encountered.

Dead Space: Downfall is an animated science fiction horror film set in the universe of the Dead Space video game series, telling a story that precedes the events of the 2008 game. Chuck Patton directed from a screenplay by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti. The voice cast includes Bruce Boxleitner, Grey DeLisle, Jeff Bennett, Jim Cummings, Lia Sargent and Nika Futterman. Film Roman and Electronic Arts produced the film, which runs 74 minutes.

The film is rated 6.3 out of 10 on IMDb from around 12,000 votes and 6.7 out of 10 on TMDB from 462 votes. The two audience scores sit close to each other, indicating a broadly similar response across both, with the smaller TMDB sample slightly more favourable.
