Neil and Abby Randall appear to have everything: a happy marriage, a young daughter, and a comfortable life. That life is turned upside down when their daughter Sophie is abducted. The man behind the kidnapping, Tom Ryan, makes it clear that money is not what he wants. Instead, he forces the couple through a series of escalating demands designed to strip away everything they have built, leaving them desperate to protect their child and each other.

The film is a crime thriller directed by Mike Barker, working from a screenplay by William Morrissey. It was released in 2007, between Barker's A Good Woman and Luckiest Girl Alive. Pierce Brosnan, who also produced, plays Tom Ryan, with Maria Bello and Gerard Butler as Abby and Neil Randall.
