Kaluna is the youngest child in a large household where she manages the tension between her personal ambitions and her domestic obligations. While working to save enough money to purchase her own home, she finds that the financial and emotional demands of supporting her extended family create a difficult conflict between her dreams and her loyalty to her relatives.
