Lost Boys: The Tribe
Short description
Lost Boys: The Tribe follows two siblings who move to the California coastal town of Luna Bay after losing their parents. Chris, a former surfer, and his younger sister Nicole settle in with their aunt, and Chris takes work shaping surfboards. The town is home to a group of vampires who come out at night to party and feed, and Nicole is drawn into their world through Shane, their leader. When she is bitten, Chris turns to Edgar Frog, a local vampire hunter, hoping to stop the group before his sister's transformation is complete.
The film is a sequel to the 1987 cult favorite and was directed by P.J. Pesce, arriving between his work on Sniper 3 and Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball. Hans Rodionoff wrote the screenplay. Angus Sutherland plays Shane, the role Kiefer Sutherland originated in the earlier film, while Corey Feldman reprises his part as Edgar Frog. Tad Hilgenbrink and Autumn Reeser play the siblings, with Shaun Sipos and Gabrielle Rose also credited.
Released in 2008, the film runs 92 minutes and blends horror with comedy and thriller elements. On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.5 from around 11,000 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 4.8 from roughly 212 votes. A critics' rating of 2.9 from a small handful of reviews places it below even those modest audience scores, indicating a generally unfavorable response across the board.

- Corey Feldman initially refused an offer to reprise his role as the bounty hunter Edgar Frog, but the role was expanded, and he agreed.
- Corey Feldman and Corey Haim received significant roles in the film on the wave of success of the 2007-2008 television series “The Two Coreys.” However, Corey Haim’s role was later reduced to a cameo due to problems caused by his drug addiction.
