WarGames: The Dead Code

Will Farmer is a computer hacker who enters an online simulation of a terrorist attack. He does not realize that he is interacting with Ripley, a government supercomputer designed to lure and identify potential threats. Due to software glitches and an inherent paranoia, the system perceives Will as a genuine danger. This mistake puts his identity, friends, and family at risk, while his city becomes a target for an automated military strike. To prevent a global catastrophe, Will must defeat the computer at its own game.
