Prey

An American family visiting Africa for a safari finds themselves trapped in a game reserve. After becoming lost and separated from help, they are hunted by a pride of hungry lions. Barricaded inside their vehicle with limited food and water, the group must fight for survival against the predators.

Directed by Darrell James Roodt, the film followed his previous work on Dracula 3000. The cast features Bridget Moynahan and Peter Weller as the parents, Amy and Tom Newman, alongside Carly Schroeder and Conner Dowds as their children. The production was a collaboration between companies in the United Kingdom, United States, and South Africa.

The movie earned 4 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception was mixed, with a rating of 4.7/10 based on 9,100 votes on IMDb and a slightly higher score of 5.8/10 from 426 votes on TMDB.
