Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups

Mrs. Claus is preparing to visit Pineville, but four mischievous puppies fathered by Santa Paws stow away on her sled. Once in town, the pups begin granting the wishes of local children, spreading cheer wherever they go. Their well-meaning antics soon have an unintended effect: the Christmas spirit itself starts to fade. Mrs. Claus and the puppies must find a way to restore it before the holiday is lost.

The film is a family adventure directed by Robert Vince, who wrote the screenplay with Anna McRoberts and Philip Fracassi and produced it with McRoberts. It is the tenth of the fifteen films he has directed in chronological order, arriving between Spooky Buddies and Treasure Buddies. The voice cast includes Genevieve Hannelius, Tatiana Gudegast, Marlowe Peyton and Aidan Gemme as the puppies, with Cheryl Ladd as Mrs. Claus and Danny Woodburn as Eli, among thirty credited cast members. Produced by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, Key Pix Productions and Air Bud Entertainment, it runs 88 minutes. Released in 2012, it holds a 4.7 rating on IMDb from about 1,800 votes and a 6.1 on TMDB from 126 votes, a small sample that points to a modest audience for this holiday title.
