Atlas of the Universe

A ten-year-old boy named Filip accidentally purchases two right-footed shoes while shopping for school gear. Too embarrassed to return home empty-handed, he ventures through the countryside alone to find the missing left shoe. Along the way, Filip befriends a homeless dog and discovers a new sense of independence and courage through his encounters in an unfamiliar world.

This drama and fantasy co-production from Bulgaria and Romania was produced by deFilm. It is the second film directed by Paul Negoescu, following his 2022 work Men of Deeds. Negoescu also co-wrote the screenplay with Mihai Mincan. The film features Matei Donciu in the lead role as Filip, supported by a cast that includes Johanna Mild Keresztúri, Calin Petru, Sofia Marinescu, and Marin Gregore. The movie has a runtime of 85 minutes and was released on February 14, 2026.
