Chasing Millions

Chasing Millions is an upcoming crime comedy set in Belfast. The story follows Diana, a young Australian police detective who attempts to advance her career and prove her worth to her biased superiors back home by investigating a massive robbery at the Northern Bank. She is paired with Crawford, a veteran local detective who is initially reluctant to accept her assistance. As the investigation takes several strange turns, the two develop a mutual respect. When the search for the criminals seems futile, Diana devises a strategy to make the stolen funds useless.

The film is directed by Stephen Burke, who previously directed Maze in 2017. Burke also co-wrote the screenplay with Katherine Thomson. The movie is a joint production between Invisible Republic and Mammoth Films from Australia and Ireland. The cast features Christopher Eccleston as Crawford and Madeleine Madden as Diana, alongside Conor Thornton, Geraldine McAlinden, Declan Gill, and Derek Carroll. The film has a runtime of 100 minutes and is scheduled for release on October 9, 2026.
