Based on a true story, this historical drama follows Catherine Corless, an amateur historian who discovers evidence of a mass grave containing roughly 800 infants and young children. The site was once a Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway. As Corless conducts her research, she faces opposition from the state, the church, and her own community while attempting to uncover a suppressed period of Irish history.
The film was directed by Frank Berry, following his 2022 film Aisha. It was written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz and produced by a team including Liam Neeson, Jules Daly, and Ed Guiney.
