Short description
Heavyweight boxing champion George "Iceman" Chambers travels to Russia and is framed on drug charges, landing him in a harsh prison where organized-crime figures run an underground fighting circuit. To earn his freedom, he must face the prison's reigning champion, Yuri Boyka, in bouts staged for gambling. The film is a sequel that shifts the series from its earlier setting into a Russian prison fighting world, focusing on Chambers's forced participation in brutal matches rather than a title bout.

What's left behind the scenes
- Nu Image Inc. objected to Scott Adkins playing the film's antagonist. They envisioned someone taller and larger for the role. The actor had to gain weight so that his portrayal of Yuri Boyka would appear as an opponent worthy of the hero played by Michael Jai White.
