Apartment 1303 3D

Apartment 1303 3D is a horror film about a young woman, Janet Slate, who moves into her first apartment after leaving a difficult home life with her alcoholic mother. The building has a dark history: the unit has been the site of violent deaths, and a legend surrounds the mother and daughter who reportedly died there. Janet's sister Lara refuses to accept the official explanation for what follows, and her search for answers draws her into the apartment and the forces tied to it.

The film was directed by Michael Taverna from a screenplay he wrote with Kei Oishi, and it was produced by Taverna and Cindy Nelson-Mullen. Mischa Barton plays Lara, Rebecca De Mornay plays the sisters' mother Maddie, Julianne Michelle plays Janet, and Corey Sevier and John Diehl appear in supporting roles. It was made for about 5 million dollars and returned roughly 3 million at the worldwide box office.

Audience response was poor. On IMDb it holds a rating of 2.5 out of 10 from around 6,300 votes, and on TMDB it has 3.6 out of 10 from 306 votes. Both figures indicate that viewers who saw the film rated it very low.
