Short description
Beautiful Carmen Colson and her ironworker husband Wayne are placed in the Federal Witness Protection program after witnessing an "incident". Thinking they are at last safe, they are targeted by an experienced hit man and a psychopathic young upstart killer.
What's left behind the scenes
- Viggo Mortensen and Justin Timberlake were considered for the roles of Wayne Colson and Richie Nix, respectively.
- Filming was originally scheduled to begin in 2002. Tony Scott was to direct, with Robert De Niro and Quentin Tarantino set to play Armand Degas and Richie Nix, respectively.
- The film was ready for release as early as 2006, but the release date was constantly postponed due to repeated reshoots.
- All scenes featuring Johnny Knoxville were cut from the film because audiences disliked his character during test screenings.
