Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku

Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku is a crime drama centered on a young man awaiting execution for murder. As dawn approaches, the story examines themes of guilt and justice through the perspectives of a conflicted judge, an aging executioner, and a jailer struggling with moral dilemmas.

The film was directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kavitha Bharathi. This project follows his previous film, Sathya Harishchandra, released in 2017. Produced by K V Shabarreesh through 2M Cinemas and D Pictures, the movie features a cast including Vetri as Arivumathi, Brigida Saga as Mallika, Rangaraj Pandey as Sivanandham, Subramaniam Siva as Dharman, Saravanan as Sargunam, and Lollu Sabha Maaran as Murthi. The Indian production has a runtime of 107 minutes and was released on July 10, 2026.
