Sex Is Zero

After completing his military service, Eun-sik returns to college to study for a state exam. He falls deeply in love with a beautiful student named Eun-hyo, but his pursuit of her is complicated by their different social standing and his status as an outsider on campus. Alongside a group of eccentric friends, Eun-sik faces a series of awkward and convoluted obstacles as he tries to win her affection while she is interested in another man.

This romantic comedy was written and directed by JK Youn, marking the first of three films he directed, followed by Tidal Wave and Ode to My Father. The movie features a cast including Im Chang-jung in the lead role as Eun-sik and Ha Ji-won as Eun-hyo, with supporting performances by Choi Sung-kook, Yoo Chae-young, Jung Min, and Jin Jae-young.

The production was handled by Showbox, Doosaboo Film, and FilmZ in Korea. Since its release in December 2002, the film has maintained a generally positive reception from viewers. It holds a rating of 6.5/10 on IMDb based on 6,800 votes and a 6.2/10 on TMDB from 143 votes.
