The Moviegoer

Ho is a dedicated cinema enthusiast who works at an independent movie theatre. While he is deeply passionate about classic films, these screenings rarely attract viewers. His routine changes when he notices a woman who watches four movies in a row and breaks down in tears during the final credits. Though she is initially reserved when Ho attempts to check on her, she eventually opens up to him after recognizing his devotion to cinema through the theatre's collection of old film copies.

This Hong Kong drama was written and directed by Dunet Chan Sheung Shing. The film features Wesley Lin On Yeung in the lead role as Ho Shun, alongside Annebell Chan as Riley. Other cast members include Peter Chan Charm-man, Honkaz Fung, Antonio Tam Sin-Yeung, and Wong Miu-Sin. Produced by Fresh Wave and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the film has a runtime of 29 minutes.
