Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel

Naruto, Sakura, and Shikamaru are on a mission to deliver a lost pet when they are ambushed by forces led by a mysterious armored warrior named Temujin. The attack separates the three companions, leading Naruto into a violent clash with Temujin that ends with both falling from a cliff. While Shikamaru discovers a massive mobile fortress and its dark secrets, others face the same enemy near the village of Suna. The conflict centers on the Stone of Gelel, a powerful object once used by a clan to heal wounds and grow plants instantly, though its strength eventually caused war. Temujin seeks the stone to build a peaceful utopia where the weak are protected, but his true intentions prove deceptive.

The film was directed by Hirotsugu Kawasaki, who previously directed Spriggan in 1998 and later directed Legend of the Millennium Dragon in 2011. The voice cast features Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Chie Nakamura as Sakura Haruno, and Gaamon Kai as Temujin, alongside Akira Ishida as Gaara of The Desert and Showtaro Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara. This Japanese animation earned 10 million USD at the worldwide box office. It holds a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDb from 6,000 votes and a slightly higher score of 6.8/10 on TMDB based on 449 votes.
