FLAPJAX

FLAPJAX centers on an overly eager fast-food manager who is given the job of bringing back a hugely popular menu item of the same name in order to keep his company out of bankruptcy. To promote it, he draws his estranged mother, a former pop star known as Popo, back into the public eye. He soon finds himself caught between the company's real motives and his own long-standing difficulties in his relationship with her. The film blends comedy, horror and science fiction.

Rocko Zevenbergen directed and wrote the screenplay with Estevan Muñoz; Zevenbergen also produced alongside Aerin Chaklai and George Jones. Gabriel Cagan plays Arrow Bentley, with Georgia Kate Haege as Eleanor, also known as Popo. Madeline Barbush, Kaoru Koide, Daniel Martin Berkey and Takumi Mitobe round out the main cast. The film runs 98 minutes and was released on September 17, 2026.
