Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy

Zarina is a curious and ambitious dust-keeper fairy whose experiments with Blue Pixie Dust lead to an accident in Pixie Hollow. Unhappy and misunderstood, she flees the fairy valley and takes the precious blue dust with her, joining a band of pirates based at Skull Rock. Tinker Bell and her fairy friends set out to find Zarina and recover the dust. When they catch up with her, Zarina casts a spell that swaps their talents among them, leaving each fairy with an unfamiliar ability. The group must adapt to their changed skills, deal with the pirates and their leader, a cabin boy named James who will later be known as Captain Hook, and return the blue dust before Pixie Hollow is endangered. The story is drawn from the world of Peter Pan.

The film was directed by Peggy Holmes, her fourth animated feature and the one that followed Secret of the Wings. Kate Kondell and Jeffrey M. Howard wrote the screenplay, and Jenni Magee-Cook produced it for DisneyToon Studios. Mae Whitman voices Tinker Bell, with Christina Hendricks as Zarina, Tom Hiddleston as James, and Lucy Liu, Raven-Symoné and Megan Hilty among the fairy friends.

Released in February 2014, the film runs 78 minutes and took about 30 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 6.6/10 from roughly 16,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7/10 from over a thousand votes. A critics' rating of 6.4/10 from 21 reviews places it close to the audience scores.
