Black Eagle

After a United States Air Force jet carrying a secret laser targeting system goes down in the Mediterranean near Malta, the CIA and the KGB race to recover the technology. The agency sends its operative Ken Tani, known as Black Eagle, to reach the wreckage first, while the Soviets dispatch their own agent, Andrei. When Tani's two young sons and his friend Patricia Parker are taken, the mission becomes personal for him.

Eric Karson directed the film, following his 1980 feature The Octagon. Michael Gonzales and A.E. Peters wrote the screenplay, and Shimon Arama produced. Sho Kosugi plays Ken Tani, with Jean-Claude Van Damme as Andrei, Doran Clark as Patricia Parker, Bruce French as Father Joseph Bedelia, Vladimir Skomarovsky as Col. Vladimir Klimenko and William Bassett as Dean Rickert.
