Three Hong Kong police officers take on the Ronin Gang after a violent armored-car robbery leaves a trail of destruction through the city. Chan loses his fiancée in the attack, Fong is left humiliated by the gang's leader Tien, and Wai has a personal stake of his own in the case. Despite their different temperaments and working methods, the three men are drawn together by what each of them has suffered at the gang's hands, and they set out to stop the crew before it can carry out another robbery.
Benny Chan directed and produced the film, and wrote the screenplay with Ram Ling Chi-Man and Melody Lui Si-Lam. It followed New Police Story and Rob-B-Hood in his filmography and came before City Under Siege. Nicholas Tse, Shawn Yue and Jaycee Chan play the three officers, with Wu Jing as Tien and Andy On as his brother. Elanne Kwong appears as Leung Hoi Lam.
Released in July 2007, the Hong Kong-China co-production runs 129 minutes. It took about 7 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 6.7 out of 10 from roughly 3,400 votes, and on TMDB 6.6 out of 10 from around 109 votes, so the two audiences rate it much alike.
