Short description

A wealthy businessman sends his private jet to collect his rebellious teenage daughter and two company employees. During the flight, the aircraft is struck by lightning during a severe storm, leaving the pilots and other passengers unconscious or incapacitated. The young girl is left alone in the cockpit and must rely on instructions from an air traffic controller to keep the plane airborne and attempt a safe landing.

Directed by Robert Tinnell, this action and adventure film was a joint production between Canada and the United States by Melenny Productions. The movie stars Joe Mantegna as the father, Raymond Stone, and Elisha Cuthbert as his daughter, Nicole. The supporting cast includes Bronwen Booth, Lynne Adams, Russell Yuen, and Gordon Masten.
