Absolute Deception

FBI Agent John Nelson investigates the murder of his primary informant, Miles. This lead takes him to New York City to meet Rebecca Scott, a journalist who believed her husband, Miles, had died years prior. The two team up and travel to Australia's Gold Coast to uncover the truth about Miles' secret life. They discover he may have been involved in a massive financial scam that defrauded a billionaire, making both Nelson and Scott targets for violent attackers.

Directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith, this action film is the 12th of 13 movies in his directorial chronology, following Arctic Blast and preceding Drive Hard. The film stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as John Nelson and Emmanuelle Vaugier as Rebecca Scott, with a supporting cast that includes Evert McQueen, Ty Hungerford, Kelly Atkinson, and Brad McMurray. The screenplay was written by Kraig Wenman.
