My Little Pony: Equestria Girls

Twilight Sparkle travels to the Crystal Empire for her first Princess Summit, but her crown is stolen during the night. When she follows the thief, she passes through a magic mirror into another dimension, where she becomes a human teenager and must face high school. With help from five girls who resemble her Ponyville friends, she sets out to recover the crown, which is tied to the harmony of both worlds.

The film is directed by Jayson Thiessen, the first of five titles he directed in chronological order, followed by several Equestria Girls installments and My Little Pony: The Movie in 2017. Meghan McCarthy wrote the screenplay, and the voice cast includes Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain, Cathy Weseluck, and Rebecca Shoichet as Sunset Shimmer. It is a Canadian-American production from DHX Media and Hasbro Studios, running 72 minutes.
