I'm in Love with a Church Girl

Miles Montego once ran the streets as a high-level drug dealer, and although he has left that life behind, the wealth and flashy lifestyle it brought him remain. His mansion, cars and boats keep drawing the attention of federal narcotics agents, who suspect he is still involved in crime because of his loyalty to old friends and former associates. Miles refuses to inform on anyone from his past, which keeps him tangled with the law. Then he meets Vanessa Leon, a committed Christian whose faith and values are the opposite of the world he comes from. Her influence begins to change him, but balancing his old relationships with his feelings for her becomes increasingly difficult, and he is eventually forced to choose between the two.

Steve Race directed the film from a screenplay by Galley Molina, with Sean Dinwoodie, Molina and Michael K. Race producing for Reverence Gospel Media. The cast is led by Ja Rule as Miles and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton as Vanessa, alongside Stephen Baldwin, T-Bone, Martin Kove and Michael Madsen among the 35 credited performers. It is a drama with romantic elements, running 118 minutes, and was released in the United States on October 18, 2013.

Audience responses to the film are modest: on IMDb it holds a rating of 4.2 from 1,992 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.9 from 85 votes. A critics' rating of 3.1 from 21 reviews places it well below even the lower audience figure on IMDb.
