Desert Saints

Arthur Banks is a professional hitman who recruits vulnerable women to assist in his crimes before killing them to eliminate witnesses. While traveling through the American Southwest toward Mexico for a new assignment, he picks up a woman named Bennie. Banks intends to use her as a pawn for his next target, but Bennie may have her own hidden motives. As the pair heads toward their destination, FBI agents track Banks in hopes of capturing him alive to uncover his associates.

Directed by Richard Greenberg, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Wally Nichols, this action thriller stars Kiefer Sutherland as Banks and Melora Walters as Bennie. The supporting cast includes Jamey Sheridan and Leslie Stefanson as the pursuing FBI agents. Produced by Meg Ryan, Nina R. Sadowsky, and David Yudain, the film was released on March 10, 2002.
