Bears

This documentary follows a year in the lives of a brown bear named Sky and her two cubs, Scout and Amber, in the coastal mountains and forests of Alaska. Starting from the end of hibernation, the family must navigate a dangerous environment to find food and avoid predators, including wolves and other bears. The story emphasizes the importance of family bonds for the survival of the young cubs as they learn essential life lessons.

The film was directed by Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey and produced by Disneynature. For Fothergill, this project followed four previous films, including African Cats and Chimpanzee. For Scholey, it was the second film he directed, following African Cats. John C. Reilly provided the narration for the production.
