Doraemon: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum

Doraemon's golden bell is stolen, and without it he begins to behave more and more like an ordinary cat. Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Gian set out to recover it, and the search leads them into the twenty-second century and to a secret museum of gadgets, where other devices have also gone missing and where the stolen bell is believed to be hidden.

The film is directed by Yukiyo Teramoto, working from a screenplay by Higashi Shimizu, with Shunsuke Okura and Rika Tsurusaki as producers. It is the third of the four Doraemon features Teramoto has directed, following the 2007 and 2011 films and preceding Nobita's Art World Tales in 2025. The voice cast includes Wasabi Mizuta as Doraemon, Megumi Oohara as Nobita, Yumi Kakazu as Shizuka, Tomokazu Seki as Suneo, Subaru Kimura as Gian and Chiaki as Dorami. Seventy-three crew members are credited.

Released in Japan in March 2013 and running 104 minutes, the film is an adventure, animation, comedy, family, fantasy and science-fiction story that took about 43 million US dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds a rating of 7.1 from roughly 1,800 votes, while on TMDB its rating stands at 6.5 from around 52 votes, so the audience response is favourable but modest in scale.
