Holy Matrimony

After stealing money from an amusement park, Havana and her partner Peter hide within a conservative Hutterite community. Following Peter's death in a car accident, Havana finds herself bound by the strict religious customs of the colony. To remain in the settlement and locate the hidden stolen funds, she is required to marry Peter's brother, who is only twelve years old. This arrangement forces the free-spirited woman to adapt to a lifestyle that forbids modern luxuries and demands total obedience.

Directed by Leonard Nimoy, this comedy-crime film followed his work on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, and 3 Men and a Baby. The movie stars Patricia Arquette and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with a supporting cast that includes Armin Mueller-Stahl, Tate Donovan, John Schuck, and Lois Smith.
