Jesse Stone: Sea Change

Jesse Stone: Sea Change is a crime drama centred on Jesse Stone, the police chief of a small Massachusetts coastal town. Struggling with his separation from his ex-wife and fearing a return to drinking, Stone throws himself into work. He reopens the unsolved killing of a bank teller who was shot during a robbery years earlier, and he also looks into an alleged rape, a case that puts him at odds with town officials anxious to protect the resort's calm reputation.

The film is directed by Robert Harmon, who had already made two earlier entries in this series of television films adapted from Robert B. Parker's novels, and producer Steven J. Brandman is again credited. Tom Selleck leads the cast as Stone, with Kathy Baker as Rose Gammon, Kohl Sudduth as Luther Simpson, Rebecca Pidgeon as Leeann Lewis, Sean Young as Sybil Martin and Mika Boorem as Cathleen Holton.

It runs 88 minutes and was released on 22 May 2007, a television production from Sony Pictures Television Studios, Brandman Productions and TWS Productions II. It sits firmly in the middle of a run of Jesse Stone mysteries, between Death in Paradise and Night Passage and the later entries Benefit of the Doubt and Lost in Paradise. Audiences rate it well, with 7.1 out of 10 on IMDb and 7 out of 10 on TMDB.
