Two business partners, Kevin and Bruce, own a private security company in a quiet town where a lack of crime has left their business struggling. To create a demand for their alarm systems, the pair decides to rob their own neighbors to frighten them into purchasing protection. Their scheme works until they accidentally steal money from a dangerous criminal named Joshua, who pursues them to recover his funds.
