Brothers. The Final Confession

Set in the Carpathian Mountains, this psychological drama follows two elderly brothers who have spent their lives in bitter competition. After forty years of silence following a major conflict, the siblings continue a desperate rivalry to see who can outlive the other despite their failing health. Their isolated existence changes when a visiting writer arrives in their small town to give a lecture. She eventually becomes a connection between the two men, intervening in their lifelong struggle for dominance.

The film was written and directed by Victoria Trofimenko, who also served as a producer alongside Ihor Savychenko. The cast includes Natalka Polovynka, Viktor Demertash, and Roman Lutskyi. Produced by Pronto Film in Ukraine, the movie has a runtime of 120 minutes. It has received a generally positive response from viewers, holding a rating of 6.9/10 on IMDb based on 309 votes.
