Bugs Bunny's 3rd Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales

Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are book salesmen engaged in a competition to see who can sell the most copies of a children's book. While traveling to his assigned territory, Bugs ends up at the palace of Yosemite Sam. To avoid a grim fate, Bugs agrees to serve as a storyteller for Sam's demanding son, Prince Abadaba. This role leads Bugs to recount various tales featuring several other Looney Tunes characters, including Porky Pig, Sylvester, and Tweety.

Released in 1982, this animated adventure was produced by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was directed by Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, and Robert McKimson. For Jones, this was the ninth of 15 directed films, following The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie. Freleng, who also served as producer, directed this as his tenth of 15 films, following The Looney, Looney, Looney Bugs Bunny Movie. McKimson directed this after A-Haunting We Will Go. All three directors would go on to helm Daffy Duck's Movie: Fantastic Island in 1983.

The voice cast is led by Mel Blanc, who provides the voices for the majority of the characters, including Bugs, Daffy, and Yosemite Sam. He is joined by Bea Benaderet, Arthur Q. Bryan, June Foray, and Shepard Menken. The movie is generally well-received by audiences, holding a 7/10 rating on IMDb from 2,400 votes and a 7.2/10 rating on TMDB from 201 votes.
