Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie

The Russo family, a clan of wizards living in New York, travels to the Caribbean for a vacation — the same place where parents Jerry and Theresa first met. Alex, a teenage witch, is unhappy about being made to come along and clashes with her mother over rules and restrictions. During one argument, while holding the family's powerful wand, she wishes her parents had never met. The wish comes true, and Jerry and Theresa no longer know each other or remember their children. To undo the spell, Alex and her brother Justin set off into the jungle in search of the Stone of Dreams, the only thing that can reverse it, while their younger brother Max tries to bring their parents together in his own way.

The film is a Disney Channel television movie directed by Lev L. Spiro, written by Dan Berendsen and produced by Kevin Lafferty. It continues the story of the Wizards of Waverly Place series, with Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Maria Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise reprising their roles, and Steve Valentine appearing as Archie. It followed Spiro's Minutemen and preceded later films of his such as Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 and Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland.
