Blackbird

Set in a Baptist community in the American South, this drama follows Randy, a seventeen-year-old who supports his emotionally unstable mother after his father departs. While his peers view him as a dependable friend, Randy struggles privately with his identity and sexual orientation. Through the experience of love, he learns that maturity involves accepting his true self.
