Short description

- This is the first film by George A. Romero not to be shot near his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
- According to George A. Romero and his wife Christina Forrest in the DVD commentary for 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978), the distributors of 'Bruiser' (2000) marketed it as a horror film. However, both Romero and Forrest felt that it was not just a horror movie, but rather a story about a man going through hardships in life.
- George A. Romero was filming a music video for the Misfits' song 'Scream', and the only payment he wanted in exchange was for them to appear in the film 'Bruiser' (2000) and write a couple of songs for it.
