Lap Dance

Lap Dance is a 2014 American drama written and directed by Greg Carter. It follows Monica, an aspiring actress struggling to find work while her father battles cancer. With bills mounting, she and her fiancé Kevin agree that she will take a job as an exotic dancer to cover the costs of her father's care. What begins as a practical arrangement draws her into a club world of money, drugs and competition, and the couple's agreement does not hold.

Ali Cobrin plays Monica, with Robert Hoffman as Kevin. The supporting cast includes Carmen Electra, Briana Evigan, K.D. Aubert and producer Datari Turner among the 26 credited performers. The film was produced by Gordon Bijelonic, Datari Turner and Michael Becker through several companies, on a budget of about 2 million dollars.
