Bridgette is an aspiring actress and aerobics instructor who enters a relationship with Adam, the owner of a local gym. After finding out that a former partner is dying of AIDS, Bridgette suspects Adam of being unfaithful. She decides to get tested for HIV and discovers she is positive. The story follows her as she builds a support system and confronts her mortality with the help of a regretful Adam.
