Short description
Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll: He has burned through eight of his nine lives, leaving him with only one life left. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The fight between Puss in Boots and the giant was originally intended for the first film in the "Puss in Boots" franchise (Chris Miller, 2011), and a significant portion of the film's choreography was taken from unused storyboards. The only difference was that in the original version, the monster would have been a man-eating giant (this was a reference to the early tales of Shrek and Puss in Boots).
  • When John Mallee's character gathers people, the horses pulling the carriage are actually unicorns that have had their horns sawn off.
