In a future shaped by climate change and ecological disaster, powerful corporations control the remaining habitable lands and food production. While the elite live in protected cities, the rest of the population faces poverty and hunger. When a genetic crisis causes widespread crop failure among modified seeds, Erol Erin, a genetics professor, seeks out a former colleague named Cemil Akman. Cemil is a scientist who lives in exile in the wasteland and previously wrote a banned thesis on the instability of genetically modified seeds. The two men embark on a journey to find seeds capable of germinating to prevent total extinction.

Written and directed by Semih Kaplanoğlu, this science fiction drama follows his previous works Milk, Honey, and Venice 70: Future Reloaded. The film features an international cast including Jean-Marc Barr as Erol, Ermin Bravo as Cemil, and Lubna Azabal as Beatrice.
