A college student rents a room in an old boarding house, hoping for quiet. Instead, the room's strange angles and his own research into parallel dimensions begin to blur the line between his dreams and waking life. He comes to believe that malevolent forces are at work in the house, and that his neighbour's infant is in danger. The film is a horror story set in the New England town of Arkham.
Stuart Gordon directed, following a run of films that includes Re-Animator, From Beyond, Dolls and Dagon. Ezra Godden plays the student, Walter Gilman, with Campbell Lane, Jay Brazeau and Chelah Horsdal also appearing. The film runs 55 minutes and was released in 2005. It is one of the director's later works, made between Dagon (2001) and Edmond (2006).
On TMDB it holds a rating of 6.4 out of 10 from around 110 votes, suggesting a modest but not unfavourable response from those who have seen it. The short runtime and horror and thriller classification place it alongside Gordon's other genre work rather than his broader filmography.
