Big Ronnie leads disco-themed walking tours of Los Angeles with his son, Big Brayden, and the two have never had an easy relationship. When an attractive woman named Janet joins one of their tours, father and son both compete for her attention, which further strains their bond. Around the same time, a killer covered in grease begins stalking the city's streets at night, strangling people who cross his path.
The film is a comedy-horror-thriller directed by Jim Hosking, who wrote the screenplay with Toby Harvard and made his feature directing debut here. It was produced by Elijah Wood, Andrew Starke and Josh C. Waller, among others. Michael St. Michaels plays Big Ronnie, with Sky Elobar as Big Brayden and Elizabeth De Razzo as Janet, alongside Gil Gex and smaller roles filled by Abdoulaye NGom and Holland MacFallister. Running 93 minutes, it is the first of two films Hosking has directed, followed by Ebony & Ivory in 2025.
On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 5.7 from around 9,500 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 5.6 from roughly 224 votes. A critics' rating of 6 out of 10 from 55 reviews places it close to those audience scores, indicating a mixed but not dismissive response.
