Short description
Roman and Lucy live in a small town in the Canadian Arctic, a remote place where the roads lead nowhere. He is running from his past, while she is more focused on the present and longs to return to civilization and university. The harsh environment weighs on them, but their emotional burdens hurt more than the cold, and together they try to break free of the lives they are stuck in and find a kind of inner peace.
Kim Nguyen wrote and directed the film, which was produced by Roger Frappier. Dane DeHaan plays Roman and Tatiana Maslany plays Lucy, with Gordon Pinsent providing the voice of the Bear and supporting turns from John Ralston, Joel Gagne and Jeffrey R. Smith. It runs 96 minutes and is a Canadian production.

- The 'Dew Line,' or early warning radar line, was a system of radar stations in the extreme north of the Arctic region of Canada, with additional facilities along the northern coast and the Aleutian Islands of Alaska, in the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Iceland. It was created to detect approaching Soviet bombers during the Cold War. Almost all facilities were later mothballed, and some became part of the North Warning System.
