Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story

A local news team looking for a story follows a crew inspecting a small town's abandoned houses. Inside one of the homes they find a locked cabinet holding a box of videotapes, and they take the tapes back to their studio. The recordings show a faceless figure in a dark suit haunting a family and gradually driving them to madness. As the journalists study the footage more closely, the same presence begins to appear in their own lives, and they find themselves being stalked by the entity known as the Operator.

Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story was released in 2015 and runs 91 minutes. It was directed by James Moran and written by Joseph DeLage and Ian Shorr, with Kirill Baru, John Zaozirny and Jimmy Miller producing for Good Universe, Mosaic Films and Institution Post. The cast is led by Christopher Marquette, Alexandra Breckenridge and Jake McDorman as the news team, with Doug Jones as the Operator.
