Short description
The story about the men who made the world of technology what it is today, their struggles during college, the founding of their companies, and the ingenious actions they took to build up the global corporate empires of Apple Computer Inc. and Microsoft Corporation.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The film is based on the book “Fire in the Valley: The Making of the Personal Computer” by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swain.
  • Part of the film's plot was used in the animated series “The Simpsons” (1989). (“Homer’s Enemy”, episode 11 of season 23).
  • At the end of the film, when Steve Jobs learns about the release of Microsoft Windows and begins an argument with Bill Gates, a computer appears in the frame running one of the early versions of Windows, but it is not Windows 1, as it did not support overlapping windows. The computer in the film has a calculator window over a file manager window.
