Angel of the Night

Rebecca inherits a Gothic mansion from her grandmother and invites her boyfriend and best friend to spend a weekend there. While exploring the crypts of the estate, they find an old book detailing the life of a vampire named Rico. Rebecca discovers that this creature was actually a member of her own ancestry. Following an occult ritual, she manages to bring the bloodthirsty relative back to life, leading to violent consequences for her guests.

The horror film was directed by Shaky González, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lars Detlefsen. It is the first of two films González directed, preceding Pistoleros in 2007. The production was a joint effort between the United States and Denmark, produced by Thomas Stegler through Fangoria Films and Wise Guy Productions. The movie features Maria Stokholm in the lead role as Rebecca, with a supporting cast including Mette Louise Holland, Tomas Villum Jensen, Ulrich Thomsen, Karin Rørbech, and Erik Holmey as Rico. In total, 38 actors and 83 crew members are credited.
