Set in April 1940, this historical drama depicts the German invasion of Denmark. The story follows Second Lieutenant Sand and his bicycle company in Southern Jutland, who are among the first Danish soldiers to engage the enemy. Tasked with an improbable mission, the small unit attempts to stall the advancing forces until reinforcements can be mobilized.

It features Pilou Asbæk in the lead role as Sekondløjtnant Sand, alongside Lars Mikkelsen, Gustav Dyekjaer Giese, Martin Greis-Rosenthal, Joachim Fjelstrup, and Jannik Lorenzen. The production was a collaborative effort between TV 2, Nordisk Film Denmark, and Det Danske Filminstitut.
