Short description
The story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, whose challenge of their anti-miscegenation arrest for their marriage in Virginia led to a legal battle that would end at the US Supreme Court.

- The film was shot near the very prison in Virginia where Richard Perry Loving and Mildred Loving were actually held, and in the very courthouse where they pleaded guilty to the crime of entering into an interracial marriage. (Such marriages were legally prohibited in Virginia since 1924.)
