A Pulitzer Prize winning photographer named Delbert Mosley is fired from his job for failing to produce sensational content. After buying a vintage camera at a yard sale, he finds undeveloped film containing images that appear to show an alien abduction. When Mosley shares the photos publicly, he attracts the interest of the government, his previous employer, and a woman who believes the images depict her father's disappearance. He eventually seeks to prove the authenticity of the encounter and faces extraterrestrial beings.
